The Brick Companies acquire Ferry Point Marina

The Brick Companies, a privately held development and management company in Edgewater, Md., has acquired Ferry Point Marina and Yachtyard in Arnold, Md.

Going forward, the property will be known as Atlantic Marina at Ferry Point. It is the third marina in Brick’s Atlantic Marinas portfolio. The transition was completed October 5.

Formerly owned by Cliff Silbiger and John Kurtz for the past 12 years, Ferry Point was established in the 1940s as a full-service marina located on the Magothy River just north of Annapolis. It has more than 100 deep-water slips, several acres of on-land storage, complete yacht maintenance and The Point Crab House and Grill, a waterfront restaurant and bar. The new owners plan to add a swimming pool and other amenities.
